It's more ironic that Phil Collins has got under their skin again - but this time actually beating them to the number 1 spot and doing it with MOTOWN JUNK

Yeah The Manics and The Script are roster buddies!

I doubt Nicky Wire will have anything bad to say about the absolute shite music The Script produce since they are on the same label AND are managed by the same company - Hall Or Nothing Management

I bet Martin Hall is over the moon that 2 of his bands are in the top 3.

I honestly think that Phil Collins bought the extra couple of thousand copies himself just to piss off the band

I doubt it, his TV show probably helped a lot, I bet the Simply Red greatest hits climbs the charts this week as Mick Hucknall did a show the weekend. My Dad who is 82 and probably brought 10 albums in his life brought the Phil Collins one on the back of his show.

Was in Tesco earlier and Mick's boys had reached number 2 (his album was only £4.98 or something though). Postcards was in 10th position.

PFAYM is number 10 in the official midweeks which is probably not as bad as everyone expected but it's likely to fall further by Sunday. 5 new entries have come in ahead of it, with Mark Ronson at number 1, the Script at number 2 and Phil Collins at number 3.
INWJTEOL has disappeared from the top 40.

Maybe the tour/next single will give it a leg up but I doubt it...well unless the next single does really well. Shouldn't be long before that's announced

also the fact that phill collins released a motown covers album will have helped too. Mowtown's always popular. Would it've sold so well had it been original songs? I hope not

How is the album doing this week?
Do I have access to the archive now? I had 100 posts a few days ago. I can't find a link to it anywhere or anything.

Takes time, especially as mods have been away, you could be cheeky and send a PM. (don't hate me mods)
