Not knowing about the Newbury Comics in-store at the time, and then once I found out, it was too late because I had a rehearsal.

While I was a fan: Having tickets to Millennium and not being able to go.

Now: All of it.

Not going to the Manics+Suede show in Milan..... yes, with Richey.
I was already into them (and loved Suede too) hell knows what prevented me from going.

i bought nicky wire's solo record.

and i guess some of the rare things i bought a few years ago when i cared more, but i've successfully sold most of them since so maybe that doesn't count.

i also vaguely remember choosing out of two or three possible gigs to go to and them playing something really good at one of the nights i didn't attend.

Similarly, getting into them too late. My only Manics regrets all stem from not being born earlier.

No regrets really, what's the point . Would have been nice to see them when richey was around though, but I'd have been too young.

Only doing one date on the JDB solo tour.
Not going to the PPF tour. I was on holiday for the local date and my mum wasn't happy about me going alone to one in another city at the age of 16.

Not seeing them the whole time I lived in Wales because it was just never practical.

No regrets really, I could have seen them for ther first time in 1997 instead of at the Millennium but not that fussed about that. Regreat attempting to do all the English/Welsh dates on SATT arena tour and making myself ill in the process and dropping out of the last one, wont be doing that again.

Missing the JFPL tour (too skint).
It was the first time I had missed them promoting an album (I won't say I caught every tour, but I have seen them live between each album - festivals etc...). Some great songs on JFPL that will probably never get aired again

October 1994: "I'm on the dole so I can't really afford that Manics gig. It's alright, they're bound to tour again next year."

I would have liked to have gone to more of the PPF tour, but it wasn't really all that practical. I feel fortunate I made it to at least one show.

Same here.

Me too. I was in America when they toured JFPL, and then ironically flew all the way back to America to see them again later that same year (I don't regret that part though)...

Amen to that.

I can't think of anything, maybe that I was too obsessed with Guns N' Roses in 91 - 92 to really listen, despite enjoying the songs on Raw Power, Headbangers Ball etc.

Or maybe not attending the Joe Strummer gig at Acton town hall in 2002, I could have met JDB if I had gone...perhaps not the biggest reason I regret that.

I was at university in Stoke when JDB was doing his solo stuff - including a show at the Sugarmill. It somehow missed my radar completely. Yet I have I Killed The Zeitgeist, so I was clearly following band activity.
