yeah but Harbour 2010 are alot closer (in terms of size of audience) to Manics 1992 than Manics 2010.

I can understand a band utilizing his image in some way as Richey has become an iconic musical figure - and indeed, the Manics used loads of images of icons and inspirations in their early days - but I think the main problem I have with it is it just seems really shoddily done.
 It's hard to say how someone unfamiliar with the Manics and that photo would be struck by it though.

I'm laughing at the image really, it's not that offensive given it'll get a reaction for a) this band, and b) Richey era Manics who abused self harm for the sake of attention (which I find more disgusting in all honesty but hey ho!)
It's not like the Manics have ever done or said anything horrible to any bands ever after all. Oh wait...
