There By the Grace of God, surely. The thing regarding all the other candidates is that they're from the albums which means they're still vaguely on the band's horizon as they refer to the albums all the time. TBTGOG was just something they threw on a compilation, which in the case of most bands means that it's ignorable from thereon after. In fact, I can't think of any other rock band than R.E.M. who still regularly play their compilation promo singles years after their release.

Sad thing though, it's one of their best singles. And sadly Door to the River shares the same limbo. Can we replace the "PLAY SLEEPFLOWERZ!!!" with "PLAY DOOR TO THE RIVER!" now?

And on the 2007 winter tour.

No. I'm pretty sure it's not been played since around the GH tour time.

Ah ok, don't know why I thought they played it in 2007

Door To The River live would be a very fucking painful thing for the band and audience to endure. wouldn't Nicky & James notice that the entire audience and Sean went off for a piss whilst they were doing it?

i'm sure i read/heard James saying he never, ever wants to even hear Revol again, and as you can't see Nicky or Sean successfully blackmailing him that's probably number one on the list of singles not to feature on a set ever again. closely followed by TLORN, unless James hauls a piano out Prince style and does a bizarre ifwhiteamerica / TLORN / Baby Elian montage thing whilst Nicky & Sean go off for a piss, now that the bogs are clear because they have finished doing Door To The River.

I'd love to hear LBAL again, haven't heard it live since 96!

I doubt we'll hear SWSS, Let Robeson Sing (I'm probably the only person who's sad about that) or Nixon ever again.

Does Repeat count as a single? I don't think they have played it since 1997. Would be nice to here TBTGOG and Landslide without naysmith.

Let Robeson Sing got played in America last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought that into this tour to be honest.

Really? I'd have thought it would have been a lot longer than that since they played Repeat.

Yeah James did it as an acoustic for in that Comic Book shop.

Indeed he did. They also played it in the actual gig.

I reckon Love's Sweet Exile is the most unlikely to get played as James hates it, doesn't he?
Mystifyingly enough, James also hates the beautiful There By The Grace Of God, so it's way up there on the unlikely list as well.

Last reference I found to it was at the final Astoria 94 show. Which is more what you'd expect really.

They played Repeat in '96, seemingly as a one off. I think that was the last time they played it.

I would think it does, because it was released as a vinyl

I doubt their version of Umbrella will ever make an appearance again either.

Yeah I half expected Robeson to be in the acoustic section of this tour, they have been playing it in recent years.

And lets hope Nixon never gets heard again.
