It's definitely Manics' best album of the decade.. As far as other bands go, can't think of too many contenders..

No, it's not. Just no. It's really good for the Manics and way better than second-rate shiz
like KYE but other bands have made better albums this decade.

Kasabian and Florence are the contenders for me. West Ryder..., Lungs and Journal are my top three favourite albums this decade. I'd probably rate Journal as my favourite though, just because. |

Close but not the best. It is in my top ten though, along with Lifeblood.

No idea, a decade is a long time. I'd have it in my top 5 I'd say, but where abouts in there and what with I have no idea.

It's a better album than i originally thought it was, actually i'd go as far to say it's an excellent album. Although best Manics album of the decade has to be Know Your Enemy, best album of the decade being Kid A.
Lifeblood and Hail to the Thief are also outstanding albums from this decade i agree there. |

I absolutely don't bother rating Manics over other bands, it's pointless for me. I don't like rating Manics' albums over each other because it's more pointless. I simply love them all.

It's getting a first because it's the Manics and its backstory and because it's amazing but also
Radiohead - Kid A Kaiser Chiefs - Kaiser Chiefs Good Books - Control Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Daft Punk - Discovery Placebo - Meds Snow Patrol - Eyes Open Muse- Origin Of Symmetry Biffy Clyro - All Albums SATT and KYE are all contenders

Ok, since we're going there, I'd say that 'Amnesiac' followed by 'Kid A' were my top two of the decade. LB follows around third or fourth at this stage. Actually, I'm not quite sure how any of you can form a definite opinion on an album that's only a few months old. I mean, I totally love JFPL, but I can't say definitetively where it ranks until I've had at least a year to digest it. I guess that's just a personal thing.
