JFPL - richey's original notes
now i never got that deluxe-whatever version of JFPL, so i wonder if richey's original lyrics are published online somewhere?

someday i kind of wish the manics would release similar "notes before they became lyrics" for THB too (if such notes are available). they kind of give very unique insights in a very unique mind as well as the band's creative modus operandi.

Me too. But we have the memento edition of Postcards and the KYE additional lyrics for now.

edit found these - they're from richeyedwards.net, run by the lady who posts here as Richeysite Richey and Nicky THB notes

I think what we both mean is the original lyric sheets, though.

Ah. Can't help you there I'm afraid!
I do like that info though, the sort-of contrast between Richey scribbling down stuff at the time, and then Nicky speaking in retrospect about the meaning of the songs is interesting. To me at least.
