From link above: 'The Welsh trio will release the album on September 20, with the lead single from the record, '(It's Not War) – Just The End of Love', out a week earlier (September 23). This is clearly 3 days later than september 20th. This why I don't buy the NME...

Well to be fair on them, the 1 and 2 buttons are pretty close on the keyboard.

What happened to that track Anti-Humanism then? Or was that fan fiction?

My mani worry about this album will be the second single will be the second track off the album? I like my hits spread out a bit!
Anyway, I'm hoping "All We Make Is Entertainment" is the next single with an X Factor judge style video? The album won't be out for weeks, but since when has that stopped us! From the titles alone, what do you think will be the second single? |

For some reason I have a feeling the Ian McCulloch duet will be a single at some point, maybe even the 2nd single.

Well there's a track between that and the first single, so I'm happy!

I really can not wait to hear the Bradfield/McCulloch duet.
Due to the fact I love Manic Street Preachers and Echo & The Bunnymen. I can't imagine how it's going to sound though?

I'm imagining something like the Killers / Lou Reed collaboration. Just better!

No shock that Ian McCulloch is appearing on a manics album. Two bands that have over used strings for years. No doubt it has worked wonderfully at times for both bands. I just get fed up when every song on an album has strings all over it, just for the sake of it a lot of the time.

Jeff Lynne likes the strings on the Manics albums so I'm happy!

i'm going to be the board's resident debbie downer for the evening and predict that this album is going to be their biggest critical and commercial failure since Lifeblood. JFPL got a free pass critically because of Richey, and SATT had an absolute stormer of a lead single combined with the press wanting to believe in the idea of their comeback (even though it didn't sell that amazingly really). It's Not War only has delusions of being anthemic and they won't sell the same story twice. happy to be wrong though, even though i think the direction is a mistake.
