I'd pay them £100 just to perform Glasnost live! (I'll get round to a proper list at some point!

Bit bored so I put together one for the period before (ie. start up to Masses). I've always thought the Nynex setlist was a really strong one, so I've gone with that and substituted in Little Baby Nothing, From Despair to Where (tough call on Roses in the Hospital), Masses and a few songs from TIMT :

1. Everything Must Go
2. You Stole The Sun
3. Faster
4. Kevin Carter
5. La Tristesse Durera (Scream to a Sigh)
6. Tsunami
7. From Despair to Where
8. Masses Against the Classes
9. Little Baby Nothing
10. Motown Junk
11. Motorcycle Emptiness
12. No Surface All Feeling
13. This Is Yesterday (Acoustic)
14. Small Black Flowers That Grow in the Sky (Acoustic)
15. Yes
16. Australia
17. If You Tolerate This
18. Stay Beautiful
19. A Design for Life
20. You Love Us

I deliberated swapping Australia for Prologue to History, but the former just about won out.

Edit- Was just comparing both set lists and it hit me that if I was putting together a career spanning set list I could only really make a case for International Blue and Your Love Alone replacing anything in to the set list above. When they play live, their sets invariably feature tracks from their latest album so you do tend to hear some of the new stuff, but if it was based on their whole body of work, then I would maybe swap International Blue for EMG and Your Love Alone for Kevin Carter and that would be about it really. Maybe Walk Me to the Bridge instead of Australia as well at a push.

Just wanna say, Suicide Aldi props for the full blooded commitment on this! Loving your lists. Personally, I'm down the front for the sweaty gig. That looks like a punisher.

OK, more fun and games from me. This is something I reckon about 4 or 5 people would come to (probably not even the band!) But I came up with a post 2001 setlist based on the idea of a Lifeblood gig. Plenty of synths and the experimentation that happened between 2002-2005, plus a few newer ones that fit the style.

1985
To Repel Ghosts
Automatik Teknicolour
The Next Jet To Leave Moscow
There By The Grace of God
The Love of Richard Nixon
A Song For Departure
The Soulmates
Empty Souls
Always/Never
I Miss The Tokyo Skyline
Empty Motorcade
Litany
Everyone Knows/Nobody Cares
Hold Me Like A Heaven
Glasnost
Firefight
I Live To Fall Asleep
ForeverDelayed

You had Generation Terrorists or whoever who played early Manics at functions.
I'm not saying form a tribute act to their 21st Century but...
And after taking part and working it out to prove my merit I realise I had left off JFPL!
Maybe thought Richey was 90's? Quibble went ahead and posted it. A section of the fandom will love how it ends and I'm amazed they haven't done something like that before.

Found That Soul
International Blue
Indian Summer
Empty Souls
Rewind The Film
YLAINE
Postcards From A Young Man
Walk Me To The Bridge
There By The Grace Of God
Europa Geht Durch Mich
TLORN
Autumnsong
Show Me The Wonder
People Give In
It's Not War (Just The End Of Love)
Ladies and Gentleman on vocals Wire etc Engage With Your Shadow
As Holy As The Soil
The Left Behind
Futurology (We're fucking off, go home but WE'LL BE BACK ONE DAY....)

Fairly straightforward for me to do this list as I became a fan in 2001 and the majority of my favourite songs are from 2001 onwards.

I've tried to keep the setlist balanced and realistic - i.e. suitable songs for their slots such as heavy opening tracks and anthemic closing tracks, no b-sides. Everything on this list has been played at least once before and with the exception of DTTR, I've heard all of them live myself.

Intro Tape: The Vorticists

International Blue
Found That Soul
Empty Souls
Peeled Apples
Imperial Bodybags
Distant Colours
There By The Grace of God
Cardiff Afterlife
Rewind The Film

This Sullen Welsh Heart (acoustic)
Door To The River (acoustic)

Send Away The Tigers
Journal For Plague Lovers
Let Robeson Sing
Solitude Sometimes Is
People Give In
Walk Me To The Bridge
Show Me The Wonder
Golden Platitudes
Postcards From A Young Man
