I guess it'll take me about ten years to get hold of everything the Manics have ever released, but I'm lookin forward to it very much!
Thank you! Remember: you have to add Pennyroyal Tea at the beginning of the The Holy Bible era playlist.

The National Treasures playlist is:

This Is The Day
The Endless Plain Of Fortune
We Were Never Told
Rock 'n' Roll Genius.

All the songs in the lists are in order of appearance, obviously.

Thank you, anyway!

Quick thanks for making this thread, I always find myself coming back to it whilst tracking down all the tracks. Cheers.

I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere but despite being released during the PFAYM era Midnight Sun was actually recorded in the KYE sessions.

Also, I put Bag Lady with the bsides as it isn't on every version of the album.

Where's Start Me Up available?

A b-side I haven't heard?

I'm shocked and appalled at myself.

I must have it, immediately!

A contribution to some awful Radio 2 does the 80’s type album. At one point Train cover Simply Red. It’s just ghastly.

Engage Your Shadow/Failure Bound ghastly (i.e., potentially charming) or Working Class Hero ghastly (i.e., nauseating)?

Oh the album is just pretty terrible. I've only ever heard the thirty second sample of the Manics song to be fair, and it didn't sound that bad. I haven't got it though!

Thank you for these lists!

I'm stoked on the few Japanese 2CD deluxe reissues I got that have all the B-sides for each album, but man, I'm still missing a ton of these songs, almost every one from Journal up to now.

I would freaking love a compilation box-set of all of these. Or more deluxe reissues. Though a box set would be preferable to having to rebuy the proper albums.

Likelihood of such a compilation?

Is We Are All Bourgeois Now a b-side or just a hidden track?

Just a hidden track. It was on Lipstick Traces too.

Yes on CD2, I remember now. How confusing, it was on KYE anyway. Did they add it to Lipstick Traces because it was a cover? Then why didn't they add Pennyroyal Tea to LT as well?

I have a separate 'album' for all of their covers.

It's a hidden track. I put it on the list because it seems that it's not available on all the KYE editions, and it has been released separately on Lipstick Traces, so I put it on the list. I didn't put the other ghost tracks, that are Working Class Hero and Bag Lady.
