So excited for this concert. Second time seeing the this year too but have feeling this is going to be best manics concert ever!

how long do you normally have to wait for band to come out after going if you want to meet them?

Glasgow Help.

For some reason or other I decided to book a flight back to Belfast at 7AM on Tuesday morning. We're saying at the Airport so I'm not too worried about catching the flight. However I am concerned about getting back to the Airport.

Can anyone recommend what would be my best option? Head to Buchanan Street or Queen Street Station? Is it an easy enough walk or jump on a bus?

Thanks in advance.

If you are flying from Glasgow International you can get a shuttle bus from Buchanan Bus station, Queen Street Station or Central Station. If it's Glasgow Prestwick you can get a train from Central straight into the Airport.

As far as i'm aware Glasgow Prestwick is the only airport in Scotland with a train station.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. It's the international we're flying from.

Just wanted to know the best and quickest way to get to either Buchanan Bus Station or Queen Street Station and which one would be better to get to.

Queen Street is the closer and easier to get to. They are only a 5 minute walk from each other and you more or less have to walk past Queen Street to get to Buchanan.

This time next week, fingers crossed, Ade and I will be in Glasgow for the gig I already have butterflies.

It's going to be a flying visit, because we have a very elderly cat and don't want to leave him alone for long.

I bought a fucking pair off Stubhub at £80 a pop for this too, one turned up weeks ago an the other is nowhere to be seen and remains untracked on UPS. I've been emailing to find out what the fuck is happening and ofcourse they're just as helpful as every other ticket company.

Then I got this text today:

Send your Manic Street Preachers Tickets today. Late delivery will result in charges. To stop SMS alerts txt UNSUB to 88600

Fuck me... I sent them an email saying I haven't received the ticket. It's ducking clear as day on my account that I've never sold a ticket. Always known they're cunts and the people who sell through them are cunts but fucking hell they've lowered expectations. I'd have been gutted to miss this and I wish I'd have been able to resist feeding these irredeemable cunts but fuck it, they're not going anywhere, they're here to stay. Arseholes.

Just got an email notification about this post, no idea how I managed to sign up for that, in the five years or so that I've been on here I didn't even know you could do that. Ah well, done now.

I like Glasgow, can't remember my way to Barras too well but eh will be fine, will nip to Firewater on Sauchiehall Street beforehand I reckon, nice place.

So anyone still waiting for their ticket for this? Yeah, twat on Stubhub apparently is.. Bullshit. Cancelled £83 order, replaced with a £42 one, could get a t-shirt each with the difference nice one.

Getting really excited for this now, can't believe how close it is. Gonna collect my ticket and nip for a Firewater drink beforehand, getting the 11:40 coach home. Job's a good'un.

The Barras is the ideal place to see the Manics (although I'll admit it's going to be hard to top the last time I saw them in Glasgow at King Tuts).
