Brixton would be ace for a THB gig.

Leeds in 2008 was an amazing setlist. I love the Manics at a festival!

As for Glastonbury as a venue for THB - I can think of nowhere I'd rather hear them play it (other than the Astoria, which is currently scattered on some landfill) or perhaps Brixton
Agreed, but I don't think they will. I remember the excitement of hearing they were gonna play archives of pain by people at Reading before they came on (and this was before I'd even ever heard motown junk ha)

I know it was a tongue in cheek comment, but if they did follow through, why Glastonbury? Surely it would alienate a LOT of fans for not being there, not 100% guaranteed full coverage from the beeb. Obviously the band know how highly regarded the album is amongst the fans, so surely they'd want to make it monumentous.

Plus didn't they once make a comment (again, not to be taken as biblical from them) saying that they didn't like the idea of playing albums in their entirity? I may be making that up, I am genuinely not sure!

Plus, as has been said, in the transposition between Rewind The Film and Futurology, why play an album from 20 years ago? Just thoughts really.

Yes, it was during a radio interview. I can't remember which one but I have it somewhere...

Not at a festival though. That is frankly stupid.

The band have always done 'frankly stupid' stuff, that's what we like about them. They're not afraid to be disliked - and secretly I think they like it in moderation.

Still don't think they would do THB in full, it'll be a set very similar to what they've been playing at the moment.

If they ever did THB as a complete set they would do a one off for fans, but I cant see them doing it.

If it was the fabled holy bible in full set wonder if they'd do a warm up, or just playing the songs on tour is their warm up

After hearing the version of AOP on this tour, not sure if I'd want to hear a full Holy Bible set any more.
