I tell you what, its great to see the lads really look like they're enjoying themselves at the moment. From the stuff on 6 Music to the post they've just made of James and Sean with Bradders pissing himself to promote an upcoming track-by-track video, really feels like they're moving into a fantastic new era.

Has it gone? I just downloaded the app but it says the content couldn't be found, but this is the case for any of their albums!

Search for "manic street preachers resistance is futile" and listen to the individual songs rather than the album at the top

People Give In - what a bloody great track. Can't stop listening to it.

I hope I'm not the only one who momentarily thought Jarvis Cocker was providing guest vocals...

Listened to a few clips on lunch - Sounds a million miles away from what we've heard so far. Broken Algorithms is banging!

I'm up to Hold Me Like A Heaven and I'm not impressed. Sounds like auto-pilot 70s AOR 'mass-communication' Manics, a real come down following Rewind the Film and (especially) Futurology. Hoping it picks up for the last third.

Liverpool Revisited sounds like pretty much every track off Nicky's solo album but instead sung by James. Not overly keen on it.

Bit of a shame that it's the song that we were really looking forward to on the trailer!

First listen finished and only Broken Algorithms stood out to me, singles aside. I just found it tried far too hard to be 'anthemic' in its "WOOOOOOOAHS" and the (over)production. I'll give it another go and see if it grows but my enthusiasm has definitely been dampened.

Yeah, the heavenly choir bit seems odd put to the end of the song, but given the context we now know it's in... well, you can see where I'm going with this

All great MSP songs are growers so I'll refrain from too much comment at the moment.

Thanks for the freebie leak, Amazon! #1 for customer service as always
