Ian's Part on SKON - To be Nicky's on Tour?

Assuming Mr McCulloch has better things to be doing than touring with the lads for the sake of one song, how do people see this working live? Do people want to see James sing it all by himself? Personally I think Nicky would do a pretty good job on the part - I think the lines suit his voice. How great would it be to see a Nicky and James duet live on tour? Or would this be too much for some...

They could put Nicky through an X Factor voice manipulator. Though he might come out sounding like some kind of nothingness.

Nina could barely handle Nina's parts on the few appearances she joined them live

It would be interesting (to say the least!) to let Nicky sing Ian's parts, but I very much doubt it's going to happen.

I'd be happy to start a campaign for the Wire's mic and stand to be taken away!

I reckon Nicky would do a decent enough job. He couldn't do much worse than Ian did on Jools Holland! It'll be James, though.

I'm still gutted Nicky didn't do the Jay-Z rap intro for Umbrella

I'm not sure why, but I can't stop giggling at that picture.

yo! what's with the Nicky hate uh?!

No seriously, have you guys heard the demo version? He sings it incredibly well, IMO, so I'm all for the Wire covering Ian's parts - whoo hoo!
