Bye! *waves*

People trying to make out that there is some sort of antagonism between the band and Richey's sister just makes me really angry.

Nicky still has contact with Richey's parents as far as we all know. I just don't believe that sort of stuff for an instant.

I'll stick to my own intellectual level thanks!

Even if Richey wasnt happy in/with the band (which I dont believe for a moment) Im sure they didnt make him run away and do whatever he did!

Its quite disturbing there are 'fans' still trying to concoct conspiracies.
No doubt Richey's sister is a strong enough lady who would say if she or Richey had a problem with any of the band!
She is clearly a passionate supporter of Missing persons charities etc so seems quite capable of speaking up for herself.

I can pretty say it's not rachel, there's plenty of evidence to show that. I'm surprised people are even entertaining the thought.

Jesus, doesn't this happen every year? Jesus wept. And by Jesus I mean baby Richey.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. the Manics have steered a lot of culture my way that I might not have gotten (or gotten as quickly) without them, but if I didn't like the music, I wouldn't like the band. I think that's a fairly common viewpoint, no? hardly Controversial Manics Opinions-worthy, anyway

I have now changed my mind on what I thought would be an unshakeable life rule: there *is* a circumstance in which I would go see Wire waffle about his politics degree, and it's the mental image drummed up by this comment that does it. turning up in that infamous floral dress and headscarf ensemble, dragging a Dyson behind him as his +1.
