People Give In has been in top 100 for the last 6/7 days now up 20 places from yesterday as well. Seems pretty good , obviously a few casual listeners buying which is good.

Interesting, but none of other and better tracks from the album have made the top 100, so I doubt People Give In will. How many does it have to 'sell'? to get in the top 100 nowadays? It's mostly all streaming shit isn't it? I don't even get how it works now and don't care since it's all changed dramatically.

Meh, I'm just happy the Manics are getting more attention. ♥

Im not to sure but Im guessing it must be selling a couple of hundred a day at least to be in the iTunes top 100 (based on no facts, purely a guess) |

Still such a mistake to not release Hold Me Like a Heaven as the first single. I think the record, tour and campaign should have worked a lot better than it has.

Maybe second single. International Blue is just what was needed for the first single.

IB was the obvious choice for a first single. Whether 'Hold Me' came second or fourth would have made little difference in this day and age, chart-wise.

We are still waiting on this section, it's gonna be badass. But while you wait perhaps you would care to peruse the lyrics for 'Underdogs' and 'Your Love Is Not Enough', from the album 'Send Away The Tigers'. |

Agree. Think IB will stay in their live set for some time as well.

People give in 84th in charts! Decent return for a 5th single.

Sadly only the download chart. Even so, have any of the other RiF singles managed to get on that?

Wow, better than all the other singles then, although it's not saying much. Had the band still released singles on physical formats, say just vinyl, it'd stand a chance of making the top hundred, but just on downloads it's not gonna happen when we've all got the album as it is so no need to download a track again. I kind of hope they release the singles from this album on vinyl on a limited run all together, on different colours.

I'm not one to clutch at straws but it got to #91 in Scotland, where rock seems to do better and urban music worse. I have no idea whether that includes streaming or not.
