Nah, I'm going to be 4000 miles away, sadly.

Any recommendations for pubs near the venue for a group of inconspicuous 30 somethings?

There's a pub almost next to the venue which like half of the attendees go to, but I've forgotten the name. It does have an interesting selection of drinks though Otherwise all the pubs in Cambridge I seem to go to are ages away from the area :/ sorry.

The Cow, virtually right next door, does a bit of food as well.

The Bath House, just down the street, nothing special.

The Eagle, just down from the Bath House, older clientele.

Kambar, charges about £10 to get in and plays indie all night.

That's about it really, I can't speak for "nightlife" in Cambridge these days as I last went on a night out here over two years ago!

Thanks for the info everyone, I guess we will just head towards the venue and probably end up where everyone else is. I always love seeing fans dressed up, just wish the people I am going with were that way inclined.

Follow the signs in for the grand arcade and park in the multi-storey right next to the venue. It's not the cheapest, but it's literally right next to the venue, so if you don't know cambridge, I reckon it's a good plan.

http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/ccm/cont...r-parks-map.en

It's the one by the venue....says 90p an hour after 5.30.

No doubt I've bumped into you in the pub before without realising.

I doubt it

Not long landed in town, certainly haven't got around to any pubs yet!

Oh wow really? I didn't think anyone came from there, especially Manics fans lol. I mean I'll be honest I'm actually from Stansted, but I probably spend more time in Stortford, as the pubs there are so much better
