Think they'd already decided on the singles, here's Sony's Marketing Plan circa July 94

Wow, that's interesting! Never seen one of those before...
"Rent-a-gobs, basically!!" - seems kind of a shitty sum up.

That was a great time for music. "Grace" and "Dummy" were released the week before and "Dog Man Star" was just around the corner...

That's brilliant! Are marketing plans for the other albums available anywhere?

Another to say cheers for sharing. That's really interesting. As much as I love that album the idea of trying to selling it commercially brings me out in a cold sweat so I have huge sympathy for the author!

I'm honestly baffled by this image. Why is JDB cuddling a trumpet?

Can't think of a response that doesn't sound rude so I'm just going to say yes

I ask you again what is to be done?

Well get Boris in to kick the fuckers out and show he himself has to be replaced as well in the process!

EDIT: James holds trumpet in solidarity with the loss of Brass Steel Company Bands lost during Thaaaatcher cuts was how I always interpreted the trumpet cuddle picture.

I’m sure there used to be a thread for this, but I can’t find it...

Anyway, I wanted to post this rather wonderful and individual cover of Faster:

https://youtu.be/fxKkjbvF1RI

If you like that, also check out the same YouTuber’s cover of Australia (which is how I first stumbled onto the wonderful ‘Colin Surname’ in the first place):

https://youtu.be/Iw5p8fpXJL4

(It’s an entertaining channel in general, deserving of more attention!)

The YouTube channel Rocked! Reviews did a video on top ten duets in rock.
YLAINE wasn't included. So I left a message bigging up the song and the band.
And it got SEVEN LIKES!! And a comment that the band are seriously underrated.
Ah! Playing it forward one heart at a time!
