Ed Sheeran has a face you'd just never tire of punching. Total prick.

This morning's news from Nicky - Still no2 on the midweeks-not bad for 3 45yr-olds on our 12th studio album!!xxx

Thanks to almostfamous for the figures, hope you don't mind me quoting what you posted on the Futurology thread.

4 Dolly Parton - Blue Smoke - The Best Of (5.3k)
5 Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour (5.2k)

If it can hang on to No2 I think it'll be considered a pretty big deal career wise - (position wise at least) on a par with EMG, KYE and SATT. It's certainly do-able.
Are the figures available anywhere online or do you have to have industry contacts for that kind of thing?

Futurology is No. 12 and No. 15 in the Amazon Uk chart and here's a site I found with worldwide itunes charts- gets updated every evening http://kworb.net/aww/

Thanks Inertiatic, hadn't found that bit. Much easier to look at

Unsurprisingly dropping a bit in those charts after the big early sales. Hopefully it can keep hold of top 2 (even if being up against Ed Sheeran it deserves to be No 1 by default!)

5.4k ahead. Surely that will be enough for second place?

Hopefully it can hang on for 2nd place, I'd like them to get another No.2 album, not had one since SATT I believe. Saturday will be the big test. Hopefully some promotion the next few days will get sales up a bit more.

Do export copies count (i.e. if I purchased an 'import')?
