I thought it was plausible he had heard it since there have been a fair amount of people who have. The hyperbole of course is crazy but I'm always a fool for letting it get me excited.

Don't get me wrong they had some good B-sides for Send Away the Tigers, I particularly like Welcome to The Dead Zone but a few of the tracks are too weak to compete. (Also your album cover pwns SATT's)

It has that effect on people...

I see your PFAYM love in, raise you a 20-year-old THB and describe your hyperbole as the worst example of an upward trajectory ever, Mr Doran!

I can't trying to work it out, but what the hell is the girl on the album cover holding, is a doll house opened up or something? I thought it was a newspaper at first.

Also, I was wondering, did the songs from Futurology get recorded at the same time as the stuff from Rewind the Film or did they just have the ideas and then record them all after RTF was done? Thanks.

From what I can tell it looks like an architectural type model of a village or town. There seems to be buildings in there anyway!

I may be remembering this wrongly, but I remember Nicky tweeting at the time when Rewind the film was being recorded, saying how they had vocals in German being recorded.....in hindsight, that now appears to be Europa....so I'd say a yes to them being worked on together

Definitely were recorded together. They've said in interviews they realised they were recording two distinct styles of music. The 'gentle acoustic one' and the 'harsh European-sounding one'.

I always thought The View From Stow Hill would end up on RTF as it has that kind of folksy title which seemed to me more that kind of scene. It was one of the earliest track names revealed from both albums.

Sean, James totally see the family resemblance in that shot. Wonder what else we're going to get.

not one but more than one complilations like that would kill GT, GATS and Lifeblood (I like them though), not talking about KYE, TIMTTMY, SATT and the post-Journal shit.

and actually I didn't try to judge any quality with that list, just wanted to write what do I like to listen to

The Quartercircle is entitled to his opinion but when a cunt speaks you just end up looking for the ventriloquist instead of listening.

Complete bollocks, I'm afraid

Prologue To History
Sepia
Welcome To The Dead Zone
Boxes & Lists
Automatik Teknocolour
Bored Out of My Mind
Fearless Punk Ballad
Everyone Knows/Nobody Cares
Ballad of the Bangkok Novotel
Sorrow 16
Groundhog Days
Montana/Autumn/78

I'd take that over GATS, KYE or PFAYM any day of the week.
