Anywhere you can get the new single seperately?

Ta! I'll buy that happily but I'm not buying songs that I've already got. I've looked at loads of Echo & The Bunnymen compilations before and I weigh up if it's worth buying another one over what I already have on other CD's. Shame, as I like the cover picture of NT. If this was Nicky's idea I'll slap him!

It's really a case of this being something completely different than what we expected. It's a super deluxe edition of the album, but not even deluxe because, by definition, something that's deluxe shouldn't require you to have to go to the extra effort of swapping your discs 38 times.

And the bigger problem is that surely nobody really gives a toss about having a super deluxe version of a band's second (but not definitive) attempt at a best of. A collection of every b-side in one box was where the appeal was for most.

It's still got some things going for it. The vinyl singles are cool and the make-up promo items are fun for those who never managed to get copies of the originals. In fact, if they just released that lot in a box without the CDs, it would be a decent little package for the right price.

Oh I'll probably end up getting it in the end. In case I can't make the gig so don't want to miss out totally!

I'd venture that none of the 1 track cd singles will ever actually be played in a cd player. Why would you ? Waste of everyones time.

I'll wait for it to turn up in HMV. Not going through that Townsend lark again!

It's not supposed to be a 'best of' though, it's a singles collection. And Forever Delayed was a 'Greatest Hits'.

Absolutely insane! Almost 2000 DKR for THIS?! I hope they wont sell a single one... the PFAYM was a rip-off - this is at least 10 times worse than that!

I still retain a hope they will say "actually, the cds will contain all tracks from each single release, a lot of them for the first time on cd.".

This will not happen.

oh god. and i spent quite some time justifying i should buy this piece of shit box.
39 tracks on 39 cd's. ridiculous. robbie williams did that for his greatest hits, and it's worth about 10 pounds.

I'd pay that money if this had:
* 38 cd singles with ALL bsides in all countries for that single [like blur beautifully did]
* 38 or 42-43 7'' singles
* 1 or 2 dvd's of all the videos / documentary
no lisptick, mirrors, poster. strictly music.

number that, put it on a nice box, and i'd pay 400 pounds for it.
