This thread title looks very unfortunate on the main forum page…

It's a lie, I swear I didn't do it…

If Kevin keeps on posting photos from this book on his Twitter feed then I wont need to purchase the book as I've would have seen all the photos.

I do think $25 is a bit steep though, and it won't be in the shops over in New Zealand. Hopefully Book Depostory will stock it. They're always cheap and postage free.

Are these the same set of pictures that would've been used in that expensive book that ended up not getting put out, I wonder?

I think this might be the most likely explanation.

Only 33? Well that settles any realistic thoughts of me getting that version.

33 copies? Pointless. So is it just a book of old photos we've all seen? Still, it'll be better than Nicky's crappy book from the other year.

Got a reply to my tweet to Mr Cummins about it, but still nothing on the Faber site.

But it is now listed on Amazon.

Ordered my limited edition & received the following email from Faber & Faber:

I noticed that you pre-ordered a copy this morning of Kevin Cummins' Assassinated Beauty (Limited Edition). I'm afraid to say we've just been asked to postpone publication of the book until 2015 (most likely - though we can't confirm a date), so we won't be able to fulfill your order in November.

We wouldn't have taken any payment for the book until the book was dispatched, so you haven't been charged. But given the uncertainty of whether or not the book will even be published, I wanted to ask if you'd like your order to stay on our system, or if you'd prefer for us to cancel your order completely?

I then asked if it was just the limited edition in doubt & they replied

I'm going to have to check that with my colleague. Apparently there's a chance that both editions will be delayed but I'll get proper confirmation and let you know.

Oh dear.
