Very, very boring but I always hear 'ceremonial rape machine' instead of 'ceremony rape machine' on We Her Majesty's Prisoners.

Yeah, me too.
But then I realised the song was written way before the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, since I recall all the political issues regarding him started after that event, at least for the public. But I might be wrong. His political activity started way before the Manics formed anyway. You stole the son from my heart makes more sense to me for a misheard lyric.

A zillion percent it is "Who's saying?"

But that doesn't make any sense, even though I know official sources have listed it as such. Now of course, Manics lyrics don't always make sense, but we have a long list of politicians, dictators and bad people... "Yelstin who's saying *loads of names*" doesn't make much sense to me. Hussein fits.
This would be a great question to ask the boys given the chance, if it hasn't been done so already. |

not sure if this has appeared before but its a bit of a 'pants' one....literally!
Mausoleum...opening verse... Wherever you go I will be carcass, whatever you see will be rotting flesh, humanity recovered glittering in her kecks, answers her crimes with Mausoleum rent 'glittering in her kecks' certainly puts a different slant on proceedings than the oh so prim and proper 'glittering etiquette' |

Was playing Peeled Apples at a low volume in the background this morning, heard the opening lines as
"The Morrissey/the lesser Smith".

In Mr. Carbohydrate "I'll forgive everything" sounds rather like "I'm fucking everything"

They way "blind as a man can be, man can be, man can be" is sung in our Love Alone sounds like the lyrics are about some sightless creature called a 'mankanbee'.
