Who'd like to see a Foo fighters/Manics tour?
Does anyone else think it'd be absolutely fantastic if the foo fighters and the manics did a tour together? I dunno who would headline though...

I swear the Manics supported Foo Fighters a few years ago? Like 2008/2009.
My friend was going the day after and got a different support band.

I think they did it at Wembley too?

I think, and this is just a guess, that the Foo Fighters would probably want to headline that one.

When I posted, I didn't realise it had been done before. I definitely think it should be done again though!!!!

Sorry about misleading people that this may happen. Does that mean that other people would really like to see this then?

Yeah, I'd like to see it!
I seem to be wrong about them supporting at Wembley. The Manchester date must have been close to the Wembley date though, because I knew there was a chance my friend was going to see the Manics when she saw Foo Fighters and I was jealous. I assumed that there were two Wembley dates and the Manics were at the first one.

Not really. I'd rather the manics just headlined their own tour.

I agree, I love the Foos live, but I want a nice long sesh from the Manics, not a support slot.

In terms of the Foo Fighters, I sort of see them as the American Manics, if you take the Richey-era Manics as a separate band to the post-richey-era Manics, which is how I like to look at it. This means that, as I see it, Nirvana are the American equivalent to the Richey-era Manics and the Foo Fighters to the post Richey-era Manics. They're definiitely the three bands that have had the most influence on me.
