Can't wait for this. I've waited over 20 years to hear these songs live. The anticipation is killing me.

Have fun everyone!

I still regret not being able to go, but Toronto is over 2,000 miles away from Vancouver (almost the same distance as from London to Cairo).

^ I thought you were going? :/ That's a shame! You're right though, the two cities are not close at all.

I'm doing my best to make it tonight (Takk/Tim: I'll do my best to post photos and songs to my FB page. I can't remember my Twitter account so won't be using that), but it's a really bad week for me. If I do make it, it won't be until about 8:30/9 and I'll be leaving as soon as ADFL starts. Monday night gigs are a drag! Have fun, peeps!

Do us a favour and let us know when the opening act is on? Still at work and I want to know how much time I have. Cheers!

Sullen Welsh Heart acoustic after Small Black Flowers. Have not been here much and have not kept up to date with set lists.

Rush 'Spirit of Radio' in to 'You Love Us'.

Also, I am too old to stand on concrete floors for 3 hours. I need a foot massage and maybe some soft gel insoles.

Yeah, that sucks! I took some vids and if I can figure out how to post them, I'll share them for you.

Great great show! I've been a fan of these Welshman since I was 15 years old and THB is one of my absolute favourite albums. I can't tell you what a privileged it was to hear it played in full. My only complaint is that Toronto fans are a bloody drag! The first few rows did the fandom proud, but everyone at the back - where I was - stood there like chumps for the most part. Some dude in front on me barely moved other than to talk to his partner in front of him. Toronto music fans have never really been known for their enthusiasm, but I bet everyone there truly appreciated the gig.

Let's see if I can remember the set list. Someone jump in and correct if I buggered it.

- THB
- Small Black Flowers (acoustic)
- Sullen Welsh Heart (acoustic). James mentioned something about Canadians before this song, but I didn't really hear what he said.
- You Stole The Sun From My Heart
- Motorcycle Emptiness
- Some tune I'd never heard before. Probably from Futurology which I've never listened to.
- Tolerate (I left during Tolerate so someone else will have to fill in the blanks)

Sorry Tim, I'm crap at remembering set lists. Ha!

Walk Me to the Bridge.

I was in the first 4 rows.

After Tolerate, then You Love Us and Design for Life.

James also mucked around with some other riffs. I could not place them. Said something about maybe later.

I got there just before they came on. Grabbed a cider from the bar and set up shop against the wall. I had a great view despite being at the back. Had to bail early because I have a client thing bright and early tomorrow. Did you try to meet them afterwards? I wonder if they came out.

Man, I forgot what a stellar venue The Danforth Music Hall is. Slopped floors and friggin awesome sound!

I forgot my ear plugs. I have been to a lot of gigs where the sound was excellent.

James and Nicky seemed in fine form. Nothing seemed canned in terms of banter, or not noticeably so. It was nice to see Nicky without his sunglasses. Band seemed to enjoy themselves.

By the time I got out, I figured they had left. My flight leaves around noon. The Southcore area I am staying at is fairly safe. Enough construction and security types at the new Go train and airport station shortcut.

Right before the acoustic songs he played the intro to "Closer to the Heart" by Rush.

After Nicky introduced him he also played around with rhr Limelight riff also by Rush.

Your set list is correct except Motorcycle was before Stole the sun.
