I've been very happy with some gig lengths, but I'd love them, at some point in the future after a break and lots of exercise, to take a leaf out of Robert Smith's book.

JDB puts his voice through a bit more than Bob though doesn't he?

Went to see the Gaslight Anthem recently and they played 27 songs. Setlists were quite different each night of the tour as well. They have five albums. Come on Manics!

Also he's more active on stage. Then again, Simon Gallup spends every Cure gig dancing around. I suppose there is a certain intensity that matches the Manics gig lengths, but a long show is always a spectacle. National Treasures at the O2 was excellent.

God I hope they play Dreaming A City (Hugheskova) before they come on for the 2nd set, I don't care if its Live or the LP version just blast it over the PA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
