Throw some acid on to your face
Pollute your mineral water with a strychnine taste

Way too many, but one's in my mind at the moment:

The simpler the answer the harder it can get
The circular landscape comes back only with regret

I'm talking rubbish to cover up the cracks
An empty vessel who can't make contact

20ft high on Blackpool Promenade
Fake royalty, second hand sequin facade

Haven't shaved for days
Gives the appearance of delay

As he was beaten across the face
With a horse whip
Where the wounds already exist

This jumped to mind first. Or perhaps the next line.

Or the aforementioned All Is Vanity line. Actually perhaps this along with the following lines aswell (the luxury of one more dye/pretend humility the ugly lie)

Hospital closures kill
More than car bombs ever will.

And...

4st 7, an epilogue of youth
Such beautiful dignity in self-abuse

I think that

I want to walk in the snow and not leave a footprint/I wanna walk in the snow and not soil its purity

is incredible

To me this is the ultimate Manics lyric. Who else would have written a couplet like that? Brilliant!

LOL! And of course "thank you Mr Jimmy McGovern, for reminding me of what lives on" - actually that song is full of them.

I'd agree with the Nobody Loved You lines being particularly tops actually.
