Q Feb 2011 _Postcards From the Edge
Interview with the lads in Q Magazine this month (did search the forum but couldn't find an existing thread)
The magazine has caught up with the boys in Japan - couple of points 1) The writer shares my opinion on the band "It (PFAYM) cemented a three album hot streak, a late career return to critical and commercial form that began with 2007's Send Away the Tigers' and a reference to "career nadir, 2004's Lifeblood" LOL. 2) Manic setlists are basically just a greatest hits list these days plus a few of the latest album - here a setlist beginning with 'You Love Us' and finishing on 'Design for Life' was referenced. Why have so many 90s rock bands done this? Simply turned up and played the hits every time they play? Though was pleased to hear that they played 'Roses in the Hospital' in Japan. |
