It's still going ahead. I'll be there with Emily. I'll be in my handmade tshirt (see tshirt thread) and green combats with pop art socks.

It's like Christmas morning! I want to leave now. I shouldn't be this excited at my age.

I really wish I hadn't just found out how fast and cheap trains from London to Cambridge are. Last train at 23.15 though means i'd get stranded there.

Speaking as someone who grew up in Cambridge, correction, someone who has spent most of his life there (I'm yet to grow up - overrated) The Corn Exchange does have shit acoustics The Junction is far better overall

If Nicky sings again you'll be too deaf to worry about the acoustics.

Hey, I love him really. But it is true. I'm always in front of Nicky's amp stack and my right ear is much more deaf than my left because of this.

I hope tonight will be a great end to an amazing tour for me turns out I won't be going with anyone now but I have no doubt I'll still endlessly enjoy myself.

Fuck I don't know what to wear tonight. Do I go for the Workingclass Hero shirt or my shiny new hammer and sickle number? Perhaps the wife will let me wear one of her frocks. Fuck I might just tie my hair in bunches and call myself Rita :-)

I'll be there once I leave work. I need to get back to London.

I'm sure I've seen Suede at the venue, but how far is it from the station?

Many thanks
