I'd quite like it to be Hazleton Avenue

Also, it really reminds me of Lenny Kravitz, It Ain't over til its over.

I don't want SKON to be a single because I'll end up sick of it like I did YLAINE.

Well its no need to discuss. The next single will be SKON. Its easy, its the most commercial track, it was played last of the new songs at Hammersmith, it was played on radio etc etc.
Other possible singles is the other two other songs played at Hammersmith, and maybe GP, but doubt that.

I'd LOVE to be able to add to this thread but I haven't heard the whole album yet (cos it's NOT OUT YET)

These threads are spoiling it for me really and probably a lot more people too.

I'm still waiting for the first single to drop and to enjoy it.

Not being rude but you don't have to read them, I agree that there are too many threads relating to the new album but that's just the way it is. We'll all be on an equal footing in 13 days anyway!

After hearing the album through a lot of times now (even if it's not yet released...)
I must say that there is perhaps more single alternatives than on their recent albums.

1. It's Not War
2. Hazelton Ave.
3. Nothingness
4. Postcards (Unlikely there will be 4)
5. Billion Balconies or Entertainment (Highly unlikely there will be 5, but you never know *cough, 1992, cough*)

Congratulations, you've won the MSP fan club prize.

I think the 2nd single will be Some Kind Of Nothingness. I really hope it isn't though, in my opinion it's one of the worst tracks on the album. The reason I think it will be released as a single is that it's a duet: Little Baby Nothing and YLAINE are the only other duets on Manics' albums and both were released as singles.

Out of interest... why do you rate Some Kind of Nothingness as one of the worst on the album? I myself am not a big fan of it... it has it's moments... but it's just not doing it for me.

It just sounds so middle of the road and lazy, plus the gospel choir doesn't do it for me at all. Most of all it sounds like the Lighthouse Family, I NEVER thought I would compare the Manics to the Lighthouse Family.
