It's like when they supported Bon Jovi, a great gig if you want to go home early.

Mind you, can't hurt the chances of "Mass Communication"

Nicky's numerous references to the White Album in recent years won't have hurt this.

"Our new album's gonna be like a mix between Wild Honey Pie and Revolution 9"

The Joy Formidable are also supporting, so if you're going, get there extra early cause they're ace.

Had a look on completed listings on ebay, a lot are going less than face value. One lucky sod got a ticket for just over £20.

I'm just waiting while the sellers of Manics tickets realise people aren't gonna buy it now £60 each..

They're good then? I've heard comparisons to the Polyphonic Spree.

Yeah they're slightly similar, there's just a very good rock n roll style band. Listen to a track or two like Popinjay

I really think they should use this as a platform for the first outing of a new song, and I'd have thought that would be a reason for them doing this.

I'm not sure how much good this is going to do them being so far in advance of the album and tour, but here's hoping. I'd like to see the next album be their biggest in twelve years!

FOR MY OWN SAKE!

hmmm not sure about that comparison. They remind me more of JJ72 meets Metric. They're good anyway, have a listen to their songs on Myspace...providing they haven't changed it, most of their available songs are on there.
