it was nice to read but as my fellows FDers said - Lifeblood is amazing *Lifeblood Appreciation Society* so cold, so refreshing. but KYE wasn't that terrible as well. it's got its ups and downs and is definitely too long, cut it to 12 best tracks and you get top 3 Manics album.

also - Ocean Spray wasn't written entirely by James, as far as I remember. Nicky wrote 2nd verse, I think.
and Truth - their best album ever. FACT.
for me from all Post-Richey's albums SATT is the weakest. if only they replaced some awful songs with brilliant b-sides (oh hello to Welcome To The Dead Zone or Love Letter To The Future)...

I agree with most parts of your post Deets. I love Lifeblood, but I think Truth is a bit "boring" .

The longer than we expected wait between EMG and TIMT was because James accidentally fell into a double bass and it took him three months to get out.
