Most Over-Rated MSP Album

Well someone had to...

To get the thread off to a perhaps controversial start (hehe), I'm going to say THB.

None of the Manics albums are overrated. So there!

That's not an option. Unless you want a special one all for yourself.

Sorry Tracey, but as Shug said, there is no magical 11th choice. Although if there was, I would have made one just for you! (and for others, possibly).

Generation Terrorists. Mainly because of the production, but also it was subject to (in hindsight) the most ridiculous claims, e.g. selling 16 million copies before the band would split up etc.

Also because Motorcycle Emptiness must be responsible for half its sales on its own, which isn't a great advert for an album with that many tracks on it.

Don't me wrong, I still love it.

You can still choose which one is the 'most' overrated without accepting that any of them are overrated per se.

Like you could say, for example, 'that dog over there is the most ugly' without meaning that any of the dogs you were talking about was actually ugly generally.

I don't think any of them are particularly overrated, but if I had to pick one it'd be TIMTTMY

Nah, I really couldn't pick one. I would feel bad if I did!

'EMG' for me - the good songs are fantastic, but there's more filler on it that is usually admitted for me. 'Elvis', 'Kevin Carter', 'Australia', 'Further Away' are all pretty throw-away, and I don't love 'Enola/Alone' the way others do either. 'Interiors' on the other hand is one of their most under-rated songs.

Yep, I definitely agree with this. I've never understood why it's got such a 'meh' reaction from the majority of the fanbase. Amazing song.
