I hope there's thundering where you are when reading this.
Nicky Wire chose En Vogue's Free Your Mind and right now the jigsaw piece fell into place

Well, bingo!
It's thundering indeed where I am. Not too many thunders, though, but they're kinda loud.

Well…

Then work came and made us free your mind.
Be colour-blind, don’t be so shallow piece of dignity.

What price now?
Because you really think the price is high for me.

You might be on to something there!

The opening bit about clothing but doesn't mean they're a Pros.Stit.choote just seemed to tally with libraries gave us power.
I imagined his thinking was "Well... I can't call my homeland a prostitute and don't want to cast any judgement on them, so that Library thing...".
Possibly he even saw the full engraving and sang it to En Vogue.
They apparently recorded demo cover and hated it. So how's that for a Holy Grail?!

Whilst we're at it; I know some members vehemently state narcissistic abuse does not exist and have publicly chastised me for stating so (shame on you) but I got support from Virginia Giuffre back in november when I began to expose the Educo cult I found out about. She's probably the epitomy of Manicness, wheresas they are not. Just sayin

The Manics made it onto HMV’s ‘Now that’s what I call HMV’ CD box set out next month (“100 legendary artists celebrating 100 years of HMV”), with A Design For Life sandwiched between Paul McCartney and Wings’ Live and Let Die and The Killers’ Mr. Brightside (seems like a little existential run in the track listing!) on CD two (of five).

Do we think there's any chance of a Rough Trade East gig / signing thing for TUVL?

There was something of a TUVL gig last week. You wouldn’t know though, as no ones talking about it.

No footage online of it. Hopefully when it goes up on the Red Button it'll be a different matter. I'm sure it was a terrific gig. But when it hasn't been broadcast yet. Not much to talk about. But four new songs in the set. Anytime it's ready!

There were people there though (hopefully not all hangers-on)
