I mean. I just...
That's the 11th time I've seen them. I was expecting a good gig but that may have been the best I've seen them. And I mean it.
Fuck - I love this band.

Really hope Condemned stays in the set.. Can't understand the excitement of Golden Platitudes? Don't remember it getting much love on Postcards tour as good a song as it is. 2010 nostalgia..

Yeah me neither, seems like a weird choice. Good live though!

Platitudes was bobbins. But Condemned was bloody amazing. They're getting a bit nonchalant with THB now, lots of messing around with guitar solos and missing vocals tonight. Still awesome though. Think Nicky might have knacked his back as he stopped scissor kicking in the second set. My first gig in Edinburgh, and surprised how civilised the crowd were for a Saturday night, having had a couple of Barrowlands experiences. Beautiful venue, great atmosphere by the end...

Sorry if I've missed anything but did they play the second set as a 3 piece?

I was in front of Nick and he was wincing quite often during the second set and even stopped playing the bass for a bit during design for life. He battled on but the pain was showing.

Golden Platitudes sounded great but I would have preferred it in the acoustic slot with Comfort Comes put in instead. The day they drop You Stole the Sun for one gig is the day I can die happily...

The lack of EMG songs tonight probably strongly indicates a EMG tour next year I think...
