That's shit! Especially when they state that no travel is involved in the prize, why does it matter where you come from?

That's balls. Why do they ask what country you're from then, it's pretty easily to lie. So technically I'm not eligible, but technically we're still regarded as part of the UK. First no tour dates and now this- vendetta against the Irish or something much?? Haha!
They're not going to know who's from where anyway before they notify ticket holders so those terms and conditions are ridiculous and why they keep adhering to them I have no idea!

I believe there are seperate competition/gambling laws for NI that make this more difficult. Could be wrong though

Yeah, I was going to say that. It's like that here in the States too actually; a lot of competitions exclude only the state of Arizona for legal reasons. Sucks to be you, Arizona.

And why have a drop down list of hundreds of countries when it's only available to 3 which are considered as one anyway?

In terms of Wednesday's, on Wednesday 4th the 100 club have no bookings listed. So that might be the day.

"Spindle Sect" on Thursday 5th are a real band

Yeah I think there's truth in that I think here follows an older law and didn't adapt one that the rest did? Not sure though, but there must be ways around it surely as there are plenty of UK wide competitions similar to this which include NI.

I've entered, this sounds good enough to break my 'No London except for something really special' rule.

That festival begins on the Friday, but I was meant to be going down on the 5th. However, that looks like it might be up in the air. Right now, there's a chance I could get to both the festival and the album launch, or neither.

Same here, despite my bitching about another gig in London, I've entered.

Still they could have done this in the new Coal Exchange, clwb, Barfly, The Gate, the Globe or Millenium Music Hall in Cardiff to make up for a lack of a proper tour date in the capital of their home country. Ho hum.

Iīd like to know that too. The terms&conditions say the prize draw is only open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales, so why is the drop-down menu of countries there in the first place?
