Help - "I am just a pasty, I am not a sausage roll" interview
So I know I have this interview saved somewhere on my hard drive, but it's hiding among all those hundreds of other snippets, and I know it's on Youtube, but I just don't seem to be able to find it anymore. It's the one in which James announces "I Am Just a Patsy" by telling how Manics fans have renamed the song "I Am Just a Pasty, I am not a Sausage Roll", "which is nice of them", with Nicky replying: "You do like a pasty, though". And JDB going: "I do like pasties, but I prefer pies, which shouldn't come as a shock to anyone." Or something along those lines.
A friend of mine (not into the Manics) just made a "who ate all the pies"-comment on a JDB picture I posted on Facebook, so I wanted to reply by proving "Jamesy's" great sense of self-irony by posting the link to the video. Also, I need to watch it myself again, and again, and again, just because it's so hilarious. ;-) So if you guys know which video I'm talking about, it'd be great if you could post the link. Thanks in advance! |

But just look at him; isn't he adorable? I can't stop watching it, haha! (This, and the one with the "motherless fuck"). :-D |

Aw, not seen that video for years, man, they seem really young there but it's only from 2007. Man, time flies. They were on great form at that period and looked great too.

You all make it sound like they're butt ugly old-timers now. ;-) Although I have to admit that this thing on Jamesy's chin is starting to irritate me. *cough*

By the by, I keep wondering who told James about the "Pasty" thing? Do we know?

I don't listen to that album much, but it was a great era and an exciting tour. I wish I'd attended a bit more of it really, my last Manics tour before quitting a job of three years and buggering off to Manchester.

Why's that? (I'm new here, so I'm kinda like not yet aware of who is who and who has done what and why and how...)
