I reckon, number 2, as long as noone else important releases an album that week, JFPL got to 3 and SATT got to 2, I can't see 1 being realistic if they couldn't manage it with a tune like YLAINE

I agree with nb 2 position. But they might be lucky this time as there doesn't seem to by any big releases planned for September. Yet...

Lead single top 10, album top 5 - I wouldn't like to be more accurate until I hear the single/see what the promotion is like/see what the competition is. Number 1 is not out of the question in both cases, but I think a number 1 album is more likely, if anything.

this post wasn't an offence, I really love The Beatles and Paul's other works, he's my second favourite Beatle

Deets, it's unlikely people will be offended by that on a manics forum, unless they don't know the lyrics to "Motown Junk."

Whilst it's so early, it could give enough time to get campaigns/groups etc. going to give a big push chart wise.
Anyone open to the idea?

Groups are always good, let's get some good vibes going, probably best to wait until the first single and then make sure it gets everywhere

I really don't think there will be 3 formats. As the heyday of physical singles are over, 3 formats would be too much. I hope for a single MCD format + a 7" for the collectors. I never understood the 2CD+7" strategy of the SATT singles either.

I predict the album will go in at number 3.
The first single will chart at number 7.
The second single at 19.
The third won't make the top 20.
There won't be a fourth single.

I hope for 2CDs and 1 DVD or something like that for singles. Or only 2 CDs or 3 CDs. I don't like vinyls because I don't have a grammophone But I'll buy them if they release it...
