Between Songs Banter Thread 2014

Between song banter from the past few days and the rest of the tour.
What can you remember? Did they say much between songs?
Please post if you are able to still remember any quotes.
I know they mostly get on with the set, but now and again things happen.
It won't be a fast thread. But you'll be glad we have this.

Great idea for a thread. Banter can sometimes be the highlight of the gig.

Nicky teased James about the Cardiff Blues yesterday but cannot remember what was said exactly.

Something like "Boy he's in a joyous mood isn't he? …" when returning after James' acoustic bit.

Something along the lines of 'He should be happy because Cardiff Blues actually won for once earlier'? And then said the Dragons (Newport, his team) won in Italy or something.

James said he hadn't played FDTW acoustically before after his solo slot but I've heard him play it live.

He also said "see you after the summer/in August" something like that (hope someone can remember exactly what he said) Hope it means an autumn tour.

I've recorded some of the banters at the Cardiff gig yesterday. I'm going to do the same for other nights and post the links here if it's possible. I won't be able to use my PC within a week so it's gonna take some time

My favourite bit of banter so far was at Cardiff last night. Nicky mumbled the sample from the beginning of 'Leviathan' ("We also do speak politics to you today") then laughed at the complete lack of response from the crowd, then turned to James and muttered something along the lines of "I guess that reference is too obscure even for this lot".

I just love it because I know in my heart that Nicky is going to use that one moment to rationalise his setlist choices in the future

I nearly peed myself with excitement; I actually thought they were about to play it...
