New John Doran book
http://strangeattractor.co.uk/shoppe/jolly-lad/
This hasn't been mentioned here but I saw it on twitter a week ago. A limited ammount of the hardbook copy of John Dorans new book 'Jolly Lad' comes with a CD that includes music by Nicky Wire and others. Does anyone know if this new music? |

Dunno but it says 'readings and music from...' so it probably is something new but might not even be a song.
But let me tell you, I would totally pay the £23 asking price for one new Nicky solo track. Not even being sarcastic. It would be awesome. We could have a special exclusive club in this thread and make sure we all kept the song to ourselves no matter how much outsiders begged us to share copies in ***. Then we could talk about it for years and years, knowing how upset those without access to it would be and feeling incredibly superior and proud of our £23 Nicky track. This is what life is about. |

That's an interesting bit of work. Is there any more info about it, and Wire's contribution?
I've also been browsing that Strange Attractor website. Hadn't heard of them before, they've got some interesting books and events.

Love it.
Then again, I loved Commemoration and Amnesia and still listen to the Guerilla Tapestry often.
