Yeah it’s great.

After two weeks of listening the standout tracks are Recuerda, Thirty Thousand Milk Bottles, La Partida and The Last Song IMO. Brilliant album.

31 in the sales chart.

It’s your streaming, Jimbo. Something’s got to be done about your streaming figures.

The current official chart is largely based on what kids are listening to for free. It’s also what cost the Manics an official No. 1 album last time.

Although it's not great for bands whose fan base isn't into streaming, I actually quite like that the chart is more about the act of listening to something than simply purchase power.

I wonder how many albums there were from the 90s that topped the charts but were rarely listened to? Imagine if the NYT bestsellers list was based on people finishing books - rather buying them with great intentions but leaving the them on the shelf (I'm guilty of that sometimes).

It’s funny how stuff grows on you. I thought Recuerda was a crap opener until I realised that it builds, 1985 style, into a proper thing by the end of the song. Now I love it.

Recuerda is fuckin' amazing. Still wish I liked the end of the album more. Sure it'll open up to me some time, though.

I love how the album shortens with familiarity. Was good taking a break from it.
It should still be the highest rated thread in the index.
Well then, future cult classic through chart performance terms. But oh. It's just such an amazing album!

Ugh. I should've known they'd fuck this up!

I ordered (and paid for) the signed vinyl and the signed CD.

I got a vinyl, NOT signed, and NO CD.
(also, vinyl is warped)

Why does this shit always happen with MSP merch?

Shit, sorry man.

I got my signed vinyl today but not the signed CD.

I assume it’s a different package?

Ps - Sony music ships these in the US.
