It has gravitas and looks instantly iconic. Who's the young man in the title meant to be , Nicky?

PFAYM -> P-FAYM (pronounced pee-fame).

Easier than J'ffp'll!

Pif-aim. That's my best guess. Sounds like "Piffle" doesn't it? So when Nicky and James were having "piffle" wars and rejecting material, I wonder if Nicky came up with the name for the album as a response?

Like I said, I haven't always enjoyed it when they've done something a bit different (LB is good but has no passion, KYE is a fucking mess) but I still love the fact that they don't just churn out the same old noise with each successive album. So if PFAYM turns out to be a mixture of EMG/SATT then that's wonderful because it's another opportunity for them to draw in an audience. The less commercial records they've done then become another side to the band for the new audience to discover.

And fuck it, SATT was not intelligent but it's still a fun record!!
I like to see them do well. And would love nothing more than for them to be huge again and get the attention they deserve. Unfortunately, these day's, considering the state of pop music, the price is generally to high. I don't want another cop out like YLAINE. It's great for the band, they make lots of money, get invited to play festivals all over the place and play bigger venues. But as a fan, as far as I'm concerned, all it means it that there's generally more twats at the gigs, that only know two or three songs. And, as with YLAINE and The Everlasting, the bad songs tend to stay put on the set list for years to come.

Given that Nicky said they'd still make albums, I'd hope not, Nicky would never lie...
