Best Gig on Last Tour?

What was your best gig and why?

Manchester was mine, for the set and because I was feeling so much better than Cardiff.

I went to Cardiff and Bournemouth. Cardiff was great, the sound was spectacular but i was suffering with sinusitis so it's Bournemouth for me. Amazing energy (James climbing speaker stacks with Nicky even smiling!) and an even better setlist (SB, DITS).

These shows were brilliant. Up there with their best gigs out of what I've been to

Friday Brixton, the band just seemed so up for it and loving every second, the crowd were immense, and we got the premier of let's go to war!

Yeah Manchester has got to be up there with the best gigs I've seen. Agree abt Cardiff, the sound was brilliant and loved the visuals behind the band and the screens. Shame I felt so bad, would have really enjoyed it. Sinusitis must have been a nightmare

Manchester, definitely. Leicester had been really upsetting and quite traumatic, Nicky obviously ill and struggling and so on, and the crowd seemed so subdued... Leicester was the worst Manics gig of my life, and then Manchester was one of the absolute best. It was immense. Brilliant setlist jiggery pokery meaning the gig flowed much better (and Rewind The Film didn't completely kill the pace), Die In The Summertime, Stay Beautiful, This Is Yesterday... James and Nicky having so much energy, Nicky seeming much better, crowd completely up for it, Cri getting all screamy-teary-emosh for 'This Is Yesterday', Rachel's kickass Nicky outfit, lots of friends there, great queueing weather, Manic Street Mania afterwards.

Yeah, all of this.

Do you think Manchester will come out as the best gig of the tour then? I loved it and know lots of others did too. Would take a lot to buit it.

Wolves for me out of Leeds, Cardiff, Leicester, Wolves, Brighton and first Brixton. Leicester was best queuing and Brighton was special for other reasons

We need a poll.

I just did Cardiff and Manchester this time, and Manchester was definitely better.

On past tours, I've noticed that Wolves and Glasgow are usually pretty good gigs.

Everyone's going to hate me but I found Leicester to be the best gig (for my own personal reasons). Crowd were shit but I enjoyed it more than Wolves (where people were massively disrespectful and where I was seated) and Cardiff (just wasn't feeling it that night).

The Friday at Brixton was pretty special. Band and crowd seemed really up for it. Manchester a close second, again because the crowd were in good spirits and I just love the acoustics in the Apollo.

Edit: Oh and I went to 6 dates on the tour (Leeds, Leicester, Manchester, Wolves and Brixton x 2)
