Ah, I see...

I now have an image in my head of Richey, in a cabin, wearing a brown jumper and writing this novel. And reading it out loud as he writes it, but he also talks to himself in the third person all the time: Richard had everything to live for but then he ran out of milk and had to face the ultimate decision...should he pop out for a pint of semi-skimmed or should he make do with one of those little milk cartons from a Travelodge?

No.

I had contacted him about this previously, and he said it's something the publisher (Picador) had chose that he didn't have the original of - still trying to track down the proper contact for Picador to get ahold of it!

In regards to the book blurb, I'm sure (like the cover design choice) it was likely drawn up by someone other than himself for dramatic effect in helping to coerce someone to see what the book is about. I'm not judging it until I read it (then again, I'm just a silly fanfic writer...), and I'm intrigued by what he's said from the little bit of correspondence we've had!

The blurb doesn't do much for me but I like the concept. I think.

No way, Richey would be wearing a much sillier jumper than plain brown.

i dont think it'll be on anyones "Top Ten Books" list (although the book cover maybe in everyones Top Ten), i imagine it'll an easy read and entertaining enough, but no more worthy a publishing than someones blog.

This got totally ripped to shreds by Nicky and Phil Wilding- it was so funny. Nicky said there was a cottage industry developing around Richey. Guess he's right.
