Or maybe the Brits are making things up as they go?
On the plus side, if the Lifetime gong is being phased out, at least we won't see N-Dubz get it in some far horrific future... |

Anything but a number one chart position. I have faith but not in delusional amounts!

There is the idea of an all-Manics radio station. #1 would not be impossible.

They have the Godlike Genius award. They don't need the Brits Outstanding Contribution one.

That's good as they won't be getting it. Not this year anyway.

I think this is the best song off the album. And the home video of it is easily the best thing associated with this whole mini-era of the Manics.

I'd agree with this, I think its a lovely video which fits the song perfectly.

Agree with this; I wish they'd released this first. It might not have made much difference to sales/chart positions etc, but I think it's a stronger song for a single than either of the other two they've released and the home video fits well with the song, unlike the other two videos which I didn't think were very good at all.

They better get a good video, otherwise it won't get anywhere in the charts.

Wrong. MSP like Eminem.

oddly the Brits still classify U2 as an international act - surely with The Edge being as cockney as Eastenders they could have sneaked them in as "British", but i dare say that would have upset St. Bono? as for Eminem, he is very, very good at selling lots and lots of records, so i have no doubt the Brits will find a way to celebrate him. i don't think the Manics have sold enough records to attract a pat on the head from the Brits, but who knows? Postcards seems to have picked up as a "sleeper" seller, they might get some recognition for it.

James certainly did like rap, dunno what his thoughts on modern stuff is though!
