And . . . It's all over! Knackered FD contingent having a post gig drink to calm the nerves. The show was amazing, of course! Bluehammer has some awesome shots for you guys - you're in for a treat tomorrow
Metallics was also on tonight, so town is awash with 'bogans' as they like to call them here. We think we made the right choice of which show to go too

Oh and setlist was the same as Adelaide, except they played la Tristessa instead of FDTW

It was awesome aside from the absence of journal songs.
Also I've never seen so many metallica shirts or drunk bogans in one place before. It was a sad sight. Anyone know the name of the support act btw?

My ears are still ringing. Wire in a skirt. Those legs. La Tristesse Durera. Melbourne. Great crowd, you beautiful, beautiful people! So exhausted, what a week! Unable to construct full sentences. Metallica fans wouldn't be able to handle the Manics. (Uh, if any Melbourne Manics fans ever want to, y'know, organize some sort of non-gig related unofficial gathering that would be aces.)

Man they were amazing. Truly amazing. And they look and move so well you'd think they were a younger band or something. They were gracious with the fans afterwards signing things and posing for photos. Excellent night. I'm looking forward to Bluehammer's photos too.

Just so great to have these guys tour Australia, give their fans so much both on stage and off it, and look forward to them coming back for the British Lions tour in a couple of years. Hope they tie it in with a gig or 15.
