You are not a sub par lyricist, nor were you ever second to Richey. Please to not be lazy, fans of the band love the Manics for what they're worth, and we always will. Don't be insecure of your own strengths.

If not contributing lyrics means that Nicky is contributing to the music instead, then that means in places the new album could sound like IKTZ with Richey lyrics and James vocals, which would make for the best Manics album of this decade by some distance.
James said he wanted to turn Nicky's track Goodbye Suicide into something big. Now he can - and without repetitive lyrics!!

Nicky is a right cock sometimes, but he does write some fucking great lyrics. I'm disappointed they're using lyrics for the next album that are over 13 years old, it is a bit lazy. Plus i never really got Richeys self-indulgent pap. Why didn't they just use them on B-Sides as they're gonna need some, unless they plan to do an album without promotion?

Dear Nicky, as the next album is being coined as HB 2, does this mean the band will continue with the military look for the time being? (I think you should
 ) And to take it even further, maybe James will try to fit back into his white sailor suit for the next tour, you can bring back the awful shoes you wore in the Faster video and Sean can wear his UN beret... Just a thought...
