i'm down with proevpete on this one - not seen that picture before and it's excellent. if they ever got around to doing an anniversary or expanded edition of the album, that would be a great image to have on the back or the inside.

its a bit lighter but it looks the same.

it was probably taken by Andy Earl, hes done TIMT cover and a similar picture was used for Canadian TIMT singles, my Holy Grails. Wire wrote in Polaroid book that the photo session was done in Wales. I love th



and heres another one fron that beach. is that Pembroke Beach?

I'd love to know how they get the height diference sorted, Sean would really only come up to Nicky's top button, I know he is slightly behind but he would have to be on the beach up in Llandudno to get such a short height diference

This may be totally unrelated, so apologies but I took this (and several others) at the gig in the Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the day that "If You Tolerate This..." went to UK number 1. It was a Sunday night and in the wake of the Omagh Bomb, Belfast was having it.




Best Manics gig of all time. These were taken on a 3 pound disposable camera which had to be winded on after each photo so not a bad effort in them days I reckon.
