Excited...MUCH!

Checked out the venue yesterday. Looks interesting from the outside. Like a run down Barrowlands (didn't think that was possible)

Just started on the beer an hour ago and will head along in a bit.

The sun is shining and the sky is blue.

I walked Las Ramblas yesterday...but not with real intent.

I'll have to do that too sometime! Tolerate being my fave song and all. I'm sure they will play Barcelona again!

Stunning show!

JDB played a bit of 'Ain't Talkin Bout Love' as a intro to 'You Love Us'.

'Faster', 'Revol' and 'Motown Junk' were mindblowing. Surprisingly, too cold reaction to ADFL. Then, I love how they are playing 'The Love of Richard Nixon' in this tour.

Apart from the O2 gig, that was possibly my favourite ever.

Test - I can't seem to post in here!

Edit - Now it works! Hmmm...strange. I'll post my thoughts on the gig when I get home tomorrow.

The thread doesn't like my iPhone for some reason.

All in all good gig!!

Nice mix of old and new. I haven't been following recent set lists and was surprised by Revol and Slash'n'B, both sounded great. Nick recalled the obvious inspiration for Tolerate and how it happened when he was staying at a hotel facing Las Ramblas. James had a problem with the guitar at the beginning of a song (forgot which one), handed the guitar on the side and came back to the mic to sing the first few verses with no guitar on until a new one arrived. I think it's the first time I see him singing that way.

I'd personally prefer a rougher output with no canned background stuff (other than Robeson's) but I won't complain. Had a great, very emotional evening. The venue wasn't packed (neither sold out, I believe) and it was easy to get a good spot without queuing, a nice, relaxed vibe all along.

I had a lovely time in Barcelona with Louise. It was my first time abroad in 12 years.Brilliant gig.The venue wasn't very nice but the sound was good. The barrier was so high it felt like we were in a cage.I've still got a sore neck from trying to look up at the stage.Tolerate was amazing
Sean came out and signed stuff, but he only went to one side of the barrier(not ours )We had to wait a while for James but he was lovely
There was two guys who come onstage and tune the instuments sat behind us on the plane home. They chatted to Louise and we talked to them again when we were waiting for our cases.I said we would be backing singers on the manics next album as long as they have autotune. He said they did have autotune in the studio so we are waiting for the call
Thanks again Louise for a great time and calming my nerves when i was on the plane x

Best gig ever. The most I have enjoyed a Manics gig for possibly well over a year. Wonderful. Cried during Tolerate like a cool person and I was like a jumping bean for the rest of it. James, what a gent. Love that when he came out there was only a handful of us too.

Wonderful Also, so cool hanging with Louise and Nic, and big thanks to them for saving me a barrier place when my door didn't open. Great atmosphere, lots of dancing and smiling and James in red...
