Fair enough. You understand fully how it all works. I'd like to see the film released.

I think it's likely that it covers an era the band have no interest in anymore, which would be one reason why they are not enthusiastic.

Sony could afford to do it for Kasabian.

Just buy that instead. It'll be like having the Manics' O2 show on DVD except a bit better. Not much but a bit. No Autumnsong, innit.

In fairness, the Manics at the O2 wouldn't even make my top 5 Manics gigs (Barcelona on this recent Euro tour would!) as a live performance. Kasabian at the O2, which I saw not long before, were way better. I don't even like the new album and they killed the place.

It wouldn't make then profit though, too out of date now.

That whats you get Manics, for not playing it safe, wanting to surprise your fans (KYE + Lifeblood) and being talented enough to try and not want to produce the same shite all the time....Um I do think they have learned from that crucial business mistake, unfortunately. Hopefully they have realised they're not going to get the moron fans back that will make them loads of money and will produce a right beast of an album next time round.

Is anyone up for this?
I've been video editting for 9 years now. I'd be happy to contibute.

My sentiments exactly.
