I dunno, like I said it's listed on 4 manics discography sites..and there's a setlist. Is it possible they just didn't know about it?

I suppose not. you say people who have followed them in Cardiff Millenium Stadium or Berlin wouldn't have known the band would have played in their hometown??
I checked some info in local paper cuts or fanzines and couldn't find anything on that. I'll check the rest what I left at home on Tuesday.
I have also sent an email to Stodola, the venue where it would have happened and I'm waiting for the reply.
so many times I have heard moans of my friends who were saying it was awful they couldn't see them earlier that they have cancelled the gigs so many times and were used to the disappointment of the cancelled gigs.

do you have any bootleg from that gig? any photos? did anyone come there and has seen the band playing in Warsaw? I am not questioning the rest of the European tour, I am just certain the Warsaw gig didn't take place.

honestly, when I wrote that setlist on the Polish forums, fans said I should show many disappointed fans who had to give their tickets back.

You know what I've got. I'm saying there's a date, a setlist and it's on 4 sites. The only evidence against it is a lack of evidence and your friends not knowing about it. It may not have happened, but not having heard of it is not conclusive evidence it didn't happen, though it does make it less likely.

No, not at all

The 2002 Warsaw gig never really took place. I mean the whole thing was announced on manics.co.uk but tickets never went on sale. Or, you know, the band really did play to an empty venue and it was a secret gig

How about this gig - http://www.thisisyesterday.com/bootlegs/live98.html - anyone know where that could've been? It bears similarities to the '98 European tour setlist, but SYMM was dumped halfway through the initial UK tour and Tolerate was normally third from last.

Yeah the Warsaw 2002 gig is listed on the tour t-shirt, as is a Belfast date after Cardiff. Anybody go Belfast?

I only went to the first one. Similarly got a mate who reckons he's definitely seen Baby Elian and he was only at the second one. Hmm.
